Halloween Sequel Has No Direction
By Danny Cox - November 18, 2008 | Email the author

Rob Zombie’s reimagining of Halloween had a sequel planned and even had writers working on that intended to direct it, but now the film’s possibility could be in jeopardy.

Bloody Disgusting learned that French directors Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo have officially left Dimension’s planned sequel to Rob Zombie’s Halloween, which they had been writing over the past few months with the intention on directing. No replacements have been mentioned, but we’re told that the Weinsteins have been asking Zombie to return as a producer.

After the monster success of Inside, Maury and Bustillo haven’t had much luck with Dimension as their remake of Hellraiser also fell through.
