By Mike Noyes - June 22, 2009 | Email the author

Matt Berenson will produce with Wind Dancer Film principal Matt Williams and production head Judd Payne.

The story revolves around a suburban family that moves into its new home only to find a curmudgeonly goblin who doesn’t want them there.

“It’s about creating a goblin that will appeal to audiences of all ages,” Williams said.

Gibson won visual-effects Oscars for “Babe” and “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest.” He performed visual effects and second unit directing on the “Pirates” franchise and “Terminator Salvation.”

Rodkey wrote “Daddy Day Care,” and “RV.”
