By Travis Leamons - June 23, 2009 | Email the author

Not only is Sandler voicing a capuchin monkey in the flick, he’s also credited as a producer.

Cher voices a giraffe, Favreau a bear, Stallone a lion and Apatow an elephant.

Rounding out the rest of the vocal talent is Jim Breuer, Faizon Love and Bas Rutten.

According to Variety, the movie sounds like Madagascar mixed with a standard romantic comedy. In it, the zoo animals attempt to teach the keeper their methods of dating and mating to help him win back the woman of his dreams. Frank Coraci (The Waterboy) is directing.

Shooting’s set to start in late summer for an Oct. 8, 2010, release.

Currently, the Happy Madison team is shooting Grown Ups with Sandler, Kevin James and Chris Rock for Columbia.
