Get A Job picked up by CBS Films

CBS Films has picked up the comedy that is sure to resonate with today’s 20-somethings.

The studio has acquired “Get a Job,” written by Kyle Pennekamp and Scott Turpel. The project is being set up by Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher at their Double Feature Films shingle.

The film is about a group of college graduate friends who are forced to lower their expectations when they leave campus and must deal with the real world.

As someone who delivered hamburgers after I graduated, I can very much relate.

The film is the second Sher and Shamberg have set up at CBS Films. They are currently in production on the true-life medical drama Crowley, directed by Tom Vaughan and starring Brendan Fraser, Harrison Ford and Keri Russell.

Pennekamp and Turpel have also recently written Wedding the Winterbottoms, Duck for President, Summer School and Secret Agent Men.
