Brand New Red Band Trailer for Funny People
By Travis Leamons - July 8, 2009 | Email the author

It’s been months since Universal released a new trailer for Funny People. But with the release of Bruno in theaters, the studio has debuted a new red band trailer. Back in February we showed you the first trailer, and while this new trailer doesn’t include a lot of new footage, funny moments are still to be had. Check it out!

What’s it about?: When seasoned comedian George Simmons learns of his terminal health condition, his desire to form a genuine friendship causes him to take a relatively green performer under his wing as his opening act.

Funny People is the third film written and directed by Judd Apatow, of The 40 Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up previously. The story depicted in the film is based on experiences Apatow had as an aspiring comic. Universal will be bringing us Funny People in theaters on July 31st.
